Rossa Di Verona Endive, also known as radicchio is a beautiful vegetable to grow in the garden. It’s attractive eye catching ruby red leaves really stands out in the garden. The leaves form a solid round head which reaches about 5” in diameter. This variety of endive does very well in cooler weather and thrives. In the fall after a light frost it actually sweetens them. This is yet another addition you can add to salads to give it some colour.
